Charlie's Very Merry Disney Wish

wish kid Charlie

Charlie's wish showed him that wishes do come true.

Charlie has a rare seizure disorder that is resistant to medications. He has seizures weekly and is speech delayed. But he doesn't let that slow him down. Charlie watches anything Christmas with Mickey in it all year long. His wish was to meet Mickey during the Christmas holiday.

Charlie's wish was granted and we made sure to pack it full of adventure from our first plane ride ever, to lots of rides & character meet & greets & of course tons of fun and love. Make-A-Wish spoiled us from our stay at Give Kids the World, to the Genie Pass at Disney and the VIP Golden Ticket at Universal Studios, the photo passes at all the parks, and the care and service we received everywhere we went.

Charlie discovered amusement park rides and insisted on riding the Hufflepuff roller coaster over and over again.

Today, Charlie loves to look back at our photos from our wish trip. Though it didn't change our daily lives, it showed Charlie that magic does exist and that wishes do come true.
